POSITION: Product Marketing and Pricing Manager

JOB LOCATION: Pretoria

REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications

TOTAL STAFF RESPONSIBILITY: None at the moment

SUMMARY OF EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY: Assume responsibility for all product related planning, pricing and marketing activities from launch planning to the ongoing lifecycle management on specificproducts

GROUP BACKGROUND: International Automotive Group

KEY EXECUTIVE ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Marketing Diploma/degree
  • At least three years experience in the product management and pricing arena ideally in the motor industry for a luxury brand, enthusiasm for ‘cars’ will be very beneficial
  • Strong planning capability and the ability todevelop robust marketing and product plans is essential
  • Excellent communication ability, both verbal andwritten
  • Ideally have gained experience in a multi-national environment

KEY JOB PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Develop and implement marketing and product plans
  •  Ensure accurate volume forecasting

  • Manage new model launch planning and launch activity projects

  • Analyse product research and conduct competitor research and market research
